Client
A mid-sized commercial HVAC integrator in the healthcare sector, requiring a CE-certified air purification module that can be installed in existing duct systems without major structural changes.
Problem
Conventional HEPA or ionizer-type purifiers were bulky, expensive to maintain, and lacked real-time sterilization performance in fast-moving air environments.
Strategy & approach
Key Technologies Used
- UV-A (365nm) + UV-C (275nm) dual-wavelength disinfection
- Titanium dioxide (TiO₂) photocatalytic reaction chamber
- 300cpsi ceramic honeycomb filter with mesh grid airflow diffuser
- Aluminum body with bolt-on duct flange (tool-less installation)
Our Approach:
We engineered a compact, energy-efficient in-duct module capable of neutralizing pathogens in under 1 second of airflow contact. The system was CFD-simulated for even UV distribution and optimized pressure drop. No moving parts, zero filter waste, and field-replaceable LED modules ensure minimum downtime.
