Client
Aromatiq, a European smart aroma diffuser brand, required ultra-low-power LEDs with high luminous efficacy and minimal heat emission. They needed support in sourcing and customizing Seoul Semiconductor SMDs for integration into compact home appliances.
Problem
Most commercial LED options had inconsistent color rendering and lifespans below 10,000 hours under continuous use. The client also required precise binning, RoHS compliance, and thermal design consultation.
Strategy & approach
We proposed a full-stack LED solution, sourcing Seoul Semiconductor 2835 and 3528 series LEDs, then customizing board layouts and drive voltage according to diffuser voltage specs. The thermal interface was verified via simulation and sample testing to meet 20,000+ hour lifetime goals.
